Our Mission
Theatre Lac-Brome was incorporated in 1988 as a non-profit organization established to create a home for English language theatre in Lac-Brome, to promote educational activities, and to become a centre for the performing arts and related activities. The Theatre operates year-round to enhance the community of Knowlton and the Town of Brome Lake for its residents and visitors through the promotion of bilingual theatre and the performing arts.
About Theatre Lac-Brome
Theatre Lac-Brome owns and operates the theatre building on chemin du Mont-Écho in Knowlton Quebec. It produces a repertory season of professional English language theatre during the summer months and now operates as a year round centre for the arts. For over three decades the theatre has played an important role in community life, supporting, promoting, and stimulating cultural activity while contributing to the economic development in the Town of Brome Lake and the Brome-Missisquoi region.
