Our Mission
The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation exists to improve the accessibility and quality healthcare for the population of Brome-Missisquoi. The non-profit organizations raises funds to purchase state of the art medical equipment and to implement pertinent projects at the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, Quebec.
The BMP Foundation also provides additional training to medical staff, and bursaries for graduating high school students that want to pursue their studies in the healthcare field.
About the BROME-MISSISQUOI-PERKINS Hospital Foundation
The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1993 after a fundraising campaign was carried out from 1989 to 1990. However, the organization finds its roots in the local community over 100 years ago when residents, doctors, and general practitioners rallied together to ensure that the population in Brome-Missisquoi had access to healthcare services by establishing what we know today as the BMP Hospital.
To support the BMP Hospital, the Foundation raises money through general donations from the public, planned giving, dedicated fundraisers to the Foundation, and through the organization of its own fundraising activities and events, such as the BMP Brunch and the October Party.
