The Burlington Museums Foundation supports Burlington’s two museums, Joseph Brant Museum and Ireland House at Oakridge Farm.
The Joseph Brant Museum recently underwent a major reconstruction to meet national museum standards for accessibility, exhibitions, archive storage and protection. Its doors re-opened on September 19, 2019 with an added 12,000 square feet of space, expanding its educational programs and special events.
The contemporary design offers 3 permanent galleries, a dedicated space for school groups and education programs, a gallery to host travelling exhibits, a park-like setting complete with a rooftop garden, and state-of-the-art storage for artifacts.
Now, housing all the modern amenities, the destination is accessible and inclusive to all, offering more than a look behind the glass.
The Museums of Burlington conserves an impressive collection. Our museums, events, school and family programming attract diverse audiences across our community.
By contributing to the Foundation, you help fund key initiatives such as special exhibitions, public programs, and innovative learning experiences.
