The purpose of the Foundation is to support research, acquire bogs and wetlands and educate the public and conserve them for the public. Establish a fund to be invested so that the capital and income can be use by Burns Bog Conservation Society to carry out its purposes.
About BURNS BOG CONSERVATION FOUNDATION
The Burns Bog Conservation Foundation was set up at the direction of the members of the Burns Bog Conservation Society. The purpose is to create an endowment fund so that the capital and interest can used to help the Society carry its purposes. It has a broader mandate in that the Foundation can also fund research on other bogs and wetlands at its descretion.
