Cal Bombay Ministries helps low-income and refugee families in Uganda become food secure by training them to grow food in small spaces.
Gardens of Hope (formerly Cal Bombay Ministries) helps low income families in Uganda become food secure. We do this by equipping them with tools and training to grow food in small spaces.
Beneficiaries are usually able to grow more food than their families need. This means they can sell the excess in the market, earning a living and benefiting the whole community.
We are currently running two projects:
Urban Farming helps low-income families in the city of Kampala
Gardens of Hope helps South Sudanese refugee families in northern Uganda.
A donation of $85 will provide everything a family needs to plant a garden and become food secure.
