During the pandemic, through the dedication of our staff, volunteers and donors, Caledon Meals on Wheels is working hard to ensure that the seniors and people with disabilities in our community are still receiving our services.

We are continuing to provide hot and frozen meals in Caledon and Orangeville. We have also added our new weekly grocery program to alleviate the need for clients to visit grocery stores as often by providing fresh and non-perishable food items. 

Friendly Visiting programs are continuing over the phone or virtually for now, and our Seniors Social and Wellness group participants are now receiving calls and/or doorway visits for a regular wellness check.  During these social distanced ‘at the door’ wellness visits seniors receive valuable information, donated gifts/ meals and activities to help brighten their day.

We will are still accepting telephone registrations, and providing telephone support for Project Lifesaver at this time.
