The Calgary Bach Choir is a dynamic organisation for adult choristers from all walks of life who are passionate about classical music and the music of the baroque period–its greatest composers–J.S. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Purcell, and Bach’s musical predecessors, contemporaries and heirs. We strive for musical excellence in our performances. We provide experienced, auditioned, amateur choral singers with an
inspiring and challenging opportunity to immerse themselves in this wondrous music and to experience the thrill of performing it with professional musicians. We have built a strong and welcoming choral community. We also nurture the next generation of professional artists by providing performance opportunities. We are a registered non-
profit charitable organisation enriching the Calgary community with great classical music.
