Dreams Take Flight Calgary Society (DTFC) is an independently registered Canadian charity dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences for children facing various challenges. Air Canada, through the Air Canada Foundation, is the largest sponsor and supporter of DTFC.
The organization operates with a committed team of approximately 300 registered volunteers and does not employ any paid professionals. Every aspect of DTFC’s work is volunteer-driven.
Each year, over 25 agencies and organizations—including the Alberta Children's Hospital—nominate children who meet specific criteria to participate in a one-day, life-changing trip to California. To date, more than 4,500 children from Southern Alberta have benefited from these trips.
