Beacons of Hope 2024 is a community celebration event that provides citizens and visitors to Calgary with the unique opportunity to show their appreciation for, and to thank members of the Calgary Police Service for all they do to keep our children, youth and our communities safe.

Beacons of Hope began in 2022 on the vision of community leaders, Murray McCann and Jackson McDonough. Raising over $150,000, this event allowed Calgarians the rare and unique opportunity to show their support to the Calgary Police Service while engaging with members.

Please note that Beacons of Hope is a third party fundraising event and therefore will have expenses associated with hosting the event. These expenses will be funded from donations raised to support the campaign. All remaining proceeds will directly benefit children and youth through programming designed to keep them safe from crime and victimisation.
