At the Calgary Sledge Hockey Association (CSHA), we believe everyone deserves the chance to play.
We create life-changing opportunities for athletes of all abilities to play, compete, and belong, using sport to break down barriers and challenge stigma around disability.
Through adaptive equipment, specialized coaching, and a supportive community, we make it possible for athletes to get on the ice and thrive. Sledge hockey builds confidence, independence, and connection, empowering athletes and creating a sense of belonging that goes far beyond sport.
Each season, CSHA provides inclusive programming for all skill levels, free “Try It” opportunities for new athletes, financial support and specialized equipment, and Western Canada’s largest sledge hockey tournament. Sledge hockey can be life-changing, but it can also be expensive.
