Calvin is a warm, welcoming and caring community. We are Bible based, finding our roots in the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation, especially John Calvin—hence our name! We hold to the fundamentals of the Christian faith—things like: The infallibility of Scripture, the Trinity, the new birth. And because we believe that Christ claims our children as his own, we practice infant baptism. Old and young alike are called to claim Christ as their own by grace through faith. Preaching is central to Calvin church. We believe God’s Word addresses the heart and it compel us to go and witness for Him in every area of life! Calvin is also a confessional Church; we seek to be faithful to our three doctrinal statements: The Heidelberg Catechism, The Belgic Confession and the Canons of Dort.
