A.C.T.S.  stands for Assisting the Community with Transitioning Students and is a program that supports students in grades 5-7 with the successful transition from elementary school to high school through Homework Clubs in 10 schools in Burnaby and New Westminster. Students in the program benefit from group activities, a healthy dinner, and tutoring by trained high school volunteer mentors. When they reach high school, students are more confident academically and are received by familiar faces, resulting in overall better outcomes.

This is a critical program for at-risk students in our community, and it is provided free thanks to generous public donations like yours.
