Games and Creativity for Children with Cancer at Camp - $50 & $75

Your gift of $50 can support our Parachute Pals Pack to provide outdoor summer fun to children at camp. Your gift of $75 can support our Camper Creativity Kit to foster creativity at arts and crafts for children at our summer and winter camps.

What we do- Camp Quality Canada provides inclusive year-round programs for children with cancer and blood disorders that support the whole family with fun camp adventures.

Where we operate- We have 6 camp locations - Alberta, Manitoba and four in Ontario (Eastern, Southern, Northern and Northwestern). Each of our regional camps run a one-week overnight kids camp annually. We also offer family programs- Family Fun Days, Camp Reunions and Family Camp. Family programs provide families in our community with the opportunity to meet other families living with childhood cancer, strengthen family bonds and have fun.

How many kids attend camp? Annually we have more than 325 campers (more than 400 as of 2023) and 330 volunteers across Canada. Our numbers are growing and we need your help to send more kids to camp.

What does our fundraising support? Your donation will send children living with cancer and blood disorders to camp. The cost of sending one child to camp for a week is $2,000. This covers food, program materials and fees, accommodations, medical supplies, camp clothing, memorabilia and travel costs.

What makes Camp Quality special? Camp Quality is for the whole family. Childhood cancer survivors and their siblings aged 7-17 attend Camp Quality. Our unique camping experience is volunteer-run and ensures not only that these children have fun, inspiring and challenging experiences, but also that their individual medical needs are met. When summer is over, family programs are offered in the communities where our campers live. We believe the joy of camp and the healing power of laughter bring strength to families and children living with childhood cancer and blood disorders.
