The mission of Qwanoes is to love kids!

Qwanoes is a youth-oriented high-adventure Christian Camp seeking to encourage commitment to Jesus Christ and provide biblical discipleship through relationship-focused, fun-oriented and Christ-centred programs. We love kids...and our desire is to help them discover and live a 'life like no other'...a life with Jesus Christ at the centre.

The opportunities for changed lives have never been greater!

Qwanoes summer camps have grown consecutively, from just over 600 attendees in 1986 to an expected number of over 4000 in recent summers. We are so thankful for the MANY people who have stood with us and provided support to allow Qwanoes to grow and become more effective every year. Today we are seeing an even great need and opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids through the ministry of camp.

Moving forward in partnership together.

Our fees do not completely cover the costs to run camp. Most capital projects (especially all major projects) are only made possible through the gifts of people who share our vision to reach kids. Qwanoes is a constant work in progress...and each year has been a step of faith. We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness...right from the year our property was purchased in 1965.

There are several options for your support: Annual Projects Fund (upgrading camp facilities, activities, and many more); Staff Support Fund (helping college aged staff to serve at camp); LINQ Fund (helping build the summer staff team through on-going monthly support); Campership Fund (providing partial scholarships to families in need); Qwanoes Missions Fund (our Kaléo program in partnership with Briercrest College partners every year to serve alongside existing ministries to make a difference in their communities in Canada and abroad); and our Phase Four Campaign (enabling Qwanoes to reach it’s full ministry potential for today and the next generation). God has worked in very powerful ways through all of these areas.
