Camp Scugog's overnight Summer Camp supports children, youth, and families that face socioeconomic barriers through personal growth, connection, and joy, one camper at a time.

Socioeconomic challenges should not be a barrier to accessing and enjoying the great outdoors, Camp Scugog's Summer Camp is designed to support children and families from underserved communities. 

About Camp Scugog

Since its founding in 1913, Camp Scugog's Summer Camp's goal has remained the same: to provide an incredible outdoor camping experience to children, youth and mothers facing socioeconomic barriers. The majority of campers continue to be referred by social service organizations including shelters, Children’s Aid Societies, Churches, and school boards.

Camp Scugog offers one 10-day Teen's Camp session, two 10-day Kid's Camp sessions, and two 7-day Moms and Kids Camp Session, wherein mothers and other maternal figures come to camp with their kids to make cherished memories for the whole family.

Camp Scugog also offers a summer-long Leadership Program. This two-year program for teens aged 15 to 17 focuses on developing skills at different levels each summer. Through physical fitness, goal setting and community living, youth will complete the program with the tools necessary to be positive and caring community members.
