Camp Sheldrake is expanding its facility with the addition of an amphitheatre. This building will enable us to expand our programming by having a permanent outdoor venue for concerts, drama productions, outdoor masses etc. The theatre will be located on the picturesque grounds just below our traditional campfire site and directors cottage,. The theatres natural backdrop will be the beautiful Miramichi river. 

The Amphitheatre theatre project was the dream of one of Camp Sheldrake's founding board members Bernard Williams. He believed that Camp Sheldrake was a place where all children could come and be kids, be challenged, and be in the great outdoors. This project ties in Bernard's faith, his love for music, the great outdoors and the joy he saw in his grandchildren when they attended Camp Sheldrake.
