Camphill Communities contribute to society by creating opportunities for people of all abilities to fulfill their potential through living, learning, and working in community. Camphill Foundation Canada works to support the mission of Camphill Communities in Ontario  by raising funds to support project development, capital projects, capacity building and sustainability of programming as well as extraordinary needs.

About CAMPHILL FOUNDATION CANADA

Camphill Foundation Canada was established in 2000 as a public foundation with a purpose to support the mission of Camphill Communities Ontario (CCO). Camphill Foundation Canada provides financial relief to CCO where government funding is not available namely to assist in the areas of project development, capital projects, capacity building and sustainability of programming as well as extraordinary needs.

Camphill Communities Ontario is a dynamic, international, diverse community including adults with developmental disabilities. There are over 120 Camphill communities worldwide. Camphill Communities Ontario consists of two physically separate but interdependent communities. Camphill Nottawasaga is a rural village situated in Angus among pastures and forests consisting of a cultural centre, diverse agricultural activities along with fabric, wood and pottery workshops. Camphill Sophia Creek offers a supported lifestyle in downtown Barrie.
