We are Camrose Helps, a registered charity dedicated to addressing gaps in local support services within the City and County of Camrose. Formed through a collaboration of 35 social-serving agencies (The Interagency Group), our mission is to provide basic necessities like food, clothing, and shelter to individuals and families in need. By working together, we strive to create a stronger, more supported community.
Our programs include the Cultural Food Hub, which offers culturally and dietary specialized hampers for those needing food support, the Community Pantry for emergency food access, and the Winter Coat Drive to ensure individuals and families stay warm during colder months. We’ve also facilitated community conversations and conducted surveys, such as the Social Needs Survey, Transportation Needs Survey, and Provincial Housing & Service Needs Estimation, to identify and address service gaps. Through partnerships, we focus on creating sustainable solutions for local needs.
