Our educator training and classroom resources material give teachers the tools they need to lead nuanced discussions of challenging topics. The Heritage Fairs program encourages students to explore the histories that interest them. The Governor General’s History Awards we administer recognize excellence and build a community of the history lovers who reach Canadians in museums, bookstores, classrooms and the community. And our magazines, Canada’s History for adults and Kayak for kids, bring the stories of the past to vivid life.
