The Canadian Centre on Disability Studies Incorporated (operating as Eviance) is a non-profit, consumer-directed and university-affiliated national organization dedicated to disability issues. We are dedicated to re-envisioning—through collaborative research, education and development—meaningful and equal participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of society—locally, provincially/territorially, nationally and internationally.

Eviance has the vision of working towards an inclusive, equitable and accessible society that is sustainable for all. As a hub of knowledge on cross-disability issues we seek behavioural and system level change through the use of community-based research, education and development. Seeking strategic partnerships with institutions, governments, organizations, businesses, and the public, we use high-quality evidence and include intersectionality, reflexivity, innovation, and excellence to make meaningful change in the disability and broader sector and beyond. Our work is guided by, and furthers the social justice intent of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and other international social justice frameworks.

Donations to Eviance will contribute to the following activities:

* Supporting projects that assist people who use guide and service dogs in Canada;

* Contributing to projects that promote universal design as well as accessible and VisitAble housing;

* Winnipeg-based initiatives on cross-disability issues; and 

* Continued engagement with cross-disability stakeholders on a national scale.
