The Collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada is a moment to not only support our local parish and diocese, but also to contribute to the Church’s mission across the country.

When you give, your offering begins in your parish but does not end there. It strengthens the mission of your diocese or eparchy and helps sustain the common work of the Bishops of Canada through the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). In this way, Catholics in communities across the country support one another in a truly shared mission.

Through this common support, the Bishops of Canada are able to undertake work that no single diocese or eparchy could accomplish alone. Your generosity helps families pass on the faith, provides resources to children, young people, and parishes for evangelization and catechesis, strengthens the Church's welcome and accompaniment of migrants and refugees, supports people who are suffering or vulnerable, and promotes respect for human life and the dignity of every person.
