Our MISSION is to help the suffering and starving children of the world! We do so by shipping non-perishable food stuffs, clothing, school and medical supplies, soaps/shampoos, tools, etc. to our central warehouse in Mississauga Ontario where it is loaded on ships and sent to third world countries for distribution by our partners on the ground in 20+ impoverished nations world wide. We are a NON-DENOMINATIONAL 100% VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION (no one in our organization is paid for their work). 100% of donations received are used to cover the costs of our local warehouse (rent, utilities, insurance, etc.) where donations of non-perishable supplies from throughout our community and beyond (Okanagan & Nicola Valleys, the Kootenays & the Caribou) are sorted, repaired, packaged and shipped via transport container to Mississauga. Our volunteer numbers exceed 50+ (mostly seniors) spread throughout the region engaged in a wide assortment of activities that together support our joint mission.
