Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University (CFHU) facilitates connections through fundraising research partnerships and academic exchanges. Founded in 1944 by philanthropist Allan Bronfman, CFHU has raised significant funds, proudly bestowing academic scholarships to 50,000 Canadian and Israeli students and establishing the Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC). With communities in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, CFHU’s efforts enrich lives throughout the world through the academic and research excellence of The Hebrew University where seven Nobel Laureates have called home since 2002, inspired by founding father and Nobel Prize winner Albert Einstein.
