Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior preserves, maintains and promotes lighthouses located along the North Shore of Lake Superior.

The aims and objectives of the CLLS are to preserve, protect and promote access to Canadian lighthouses on Lake Superior. CLLS currently manages and operates two light stations and one lighthouse on three separate sites.
CLLS offers the public with a variety of activities including: the Artist-in- Residence Program, guided tours, onsite interpretation panels and the new mini-museum on Porphyry Island.
Our programs provide educational opportunities, sailing groups, outward bound schools and other visitors with a wealth of activities to participate to learn about our transportation history, nautical interpretive displays, understanding the life of a light keeper.
