Canadian Lutheran World Relief is appealing for support to respond to the humanitarian emergency unfolding in Gaza. 

CLWR is seeking to provide critical life-saving aid in Gaza where estimates indicate that more than one million people have been forced to leave their homes and over 9,000 killed.We call for all sides in the conflict to protect civilian lives and allow humanitarian aid to reach those in need as quickly as possible.  As we work to make sure humanitarian access is restored, your gift will ensure that we can scale up our response swiftly and effectively to deliver life-saving food, water, shelter, and medical care to those who need it. 

CLWR is coordinating a response together with long-standing partners in the region including Lutheran World Federation Jerusalem, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, and the Middle East Council of Churches.
