100% of your donation to Meet the Needs Fund pays for the essential and immediate needs of the most vulnerable, precariously-housed individuals on the North Shore and the Sunshine Coast.
These individuals are living in their cars, on the streets, and in other unstable and insecure conditions with mental health and addictions issues.
Not only does your gift address their immediate needs, it also helps our Homeless Outreach Team build relationships and trust with these individuals in order to open the door to deeper discussions about their struggles and connect homeless people to health and social service resources in the community.
Your donation can help an individual access supportive housing, find employment, and begin their journey towards wellness and recovery:
$20 pays for a warm drink and snack
$100 pays for a pair of socks, gloves, and hat
$250 pays for 5 grocery cards
$1,000 provides a few rent subsidies for those who risk eviction
