Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation

about

Scotland and Canada are natural partners. From the 1600's to the present day Scots have played a significant role in shaping Canada – from prime ministers and famous scientists to inventors, cultural icons and shared place names.  Over 4.7 million Canadians indicate having Scottish ancestry.

Today, more than ever, Scotland's heritage needs safekeeping and Canadians who love Scotland have an exciting opportunity to help.

Building on the relationship between Scotland and Canada, the Canadian National Trust for Scotland Foundation was established in 2009 to help Scots-Canadians, Canadians with Scottish heritage and others interested in Scotland's rich and varied heritage to maintain a close connection with Scotland.

The Foundation works hand-in-hand with the National Trust for Scotland, the largest conservation land manager and heritage conservation charity in Scotland.  Funds raised by CNTSF, over and above operating costs, are allocated to capital projects at NTS properties.

Through your one time or monthly gift, the Foundation welcomes your involvement and financial support.  Gifts to honour a family member, friend or colleague are accepted as are those to celebrate special occasions such as anniversaries, weddings and birthdays.
