The CSDCMS offers space-themed competitions for high-school and university students, inspiring and supporting them to pursue exciting and rewarding educations and careers in space missions.
In the CanSat Design Challenge, teams of high schools students design and build a miniature satellite which is the size of a soda can. The CanSats are launched to an altitude of 1km, and collect data as they parachute down.
In the CubeSat Design Challenge, teams of university students design and build an operational science satellite which is the size of a 2-litre carton of milk. Our goal is to launch the winning satellite(s) into orbit.
