The Canadian Veterans Services Society (CVSS) has grown from a regional initiative into a national lifeline. We provide a comprehensive ecosystem of support designed to restore dignity and foster long-term recovery for those who served our country.

Our Three Pillars of Support

• Dignity-Based Food Security: We operate self-shop food banks across Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer) and British Columbia (Kelowna, Langford). Unlike traditional models, our "Client Choice" experience allows members to shop for nutritious food, clothing, and household essentials in a relaxed environment that respects their individual agency.

• Physical & Mental Wellness: We go beyond basic needs by offering employment readiness, mental health counseling, and specialized fitness rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide the physical and emotional tools necessary for a successful transition to civilian life.

• The Caroline Retreat: Our 142-acre sanctuary in Alberta offers a restorative environment for recovery, featuring private cabins and a commercial-grade kitchen facility for community connection and healing.
