We believe every Indian child deserves a chance of a really great education. Your support can put a smile on their faces and hope in their lives and help to keep rural India's children in school.
Each school year we give over 100 full and partial scholarships to deserving and financially challenged kids. Our goal for 2026 is to raise $65,274 for kindergarten to grade 12 scholarships.
At Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity, we know that a truly transformative educational program goes beyond a classroom's walls. That's why we support grade school students with scholarships in innovative organizations like Sri Narayani Schools in India. Sri Narayani Schools offers excellent educational programs with health, community, the environment and personal responsibility in mind. We feel kids educated through Sri Narayani Schools will be poised for an enriched life and that every student, regardless of their family's financial circumstances, will be supported with our scholarships.
We work in India to improve educational outcomes for underprivileged kids. We donate primary and secondary school scholarships that support kids entering or already existing local school programs.
Education in India has much room for growth. Improving access to education, increasing the quality of education, reducing disparities, lowering dropout rates, increasing enrolment and completion rates, enhancing learning outcomes and employability, strengthening governance and accountability, promoting innovation and technology, and addressing the impact of the COVID - 19 pandemic which hit South Indian schools hard. Our scholarships are focused on supporting kids in financial difficulties so that they can successfully focus on their studies.
The goals of the schools we support include::

To impart community mindedness at a young age so that students will serve with righteousness and integrity.
Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity supports students in Indian Grade Schools with donations of full and partial scholarships. Each year we receive many requests for scholarships with explanations including: "Fatherless", "Motherless", Father and Motherless", "Father Sick", "Daily Wages with Low Income". Full scholarships range from C$494 for a Junior Kindergarten student to C$1129 for each Grade 12 student and Canadians Sharing supports everyone to the extent of their needs. Please consider donating a partial or complete educational scholarship NOW so children can continue with their education.
