We'll Match Your Donation! Here at Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity, we really appreciate your hard-earned gifts that support this and our many other programs. To make your gift go further, we're going to match it all the way through to January 4, 2027.

There's more - we'll make your donation go even further!  Not only are we all volunteers here with no paid staff, but the expenses of our few operational costs, including rent, internet, accounting and office materials, are donated by the founders of Canadians Sharing Charity.

At Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity, we know that a truly transformative educational program goes beyond a classroom's walls.  That's why we support boys and young men with scholarships in innovative organizations including Sri Narayani Schools in India. Sri Narayani Schools offers excellent educational programs with health, community, the environment and personal responsibility in mind.  We feel boys educated through Sri Narayani Schools will be poised for an enriched life and that every boy, regardless of his family's financial circumstances, will be supported with our scholarships. 

PROGRAM GOAL

Canadians Sharing supports boys and young men with donations of full and partial scholarships. We want to keep boys in school, studying and focusing on their classwork. Our goal is to provide scholarships to any boy struggling to pay his school fees. We put hope in an under-served boy's life - and a smile on his face - with our scholarships. Our goal for 2026 is to raise $65,274 for over 130 scholarships.

CONTEXT

There is an intense need for scholarships in the rural farming communities in India that we serve. About 1 in every 20 boys needs a scholarship, usually because of a financial change in his families ability to support him. In each case, a scholarship means the difference between completing a grade or dropping out of school.

We choose the most financially challenged boys struggling through grade school and support them with full and partial scholarships. Each term we receive many requests for scholarships.  The requests are accompanied by reasons for the scholarships and include: "Fatherless", "Motherless", "Father and Motherless", "Father Sick", "Daily Wages with Low Income".

Full scholarships range from C$494 for a Junior Kindergarten boy to C$1129 for each Grade 12 boy. Canadians Sharing supports each boy to the extent of his needs to keep him in school and studying.  

Please consider donating a partial or complete educational scholarship either NOW or MONTHLY so boys can continue with their education and unlock their futures! Monthly donations ensure that we can respond to funding gaps and continue to support locally identified candidates for support.
