Our Mission
With your support, CanEducate provides educational sponsorships to impoverished and at-risk children in developing countries, expanding access to education for the kids who need it most.
About CANEDUCATE
CanEducate’s first sponsorship program is targeted at remote communities in the Kahama District of Tanzania, where every year hundreds of children are turned away from secondary school because they cannot afford to pay fees. The cost to send one child to secondary school in Tanzania is only $50 per year, which includes school and examination fees and a mandatory uniform.
CanEducate is run by a group of volunteers who want your money to go directly to the children who need it most. We keep administrative costs low by delivering our sponsorships through partners with well-established community networks in our target regions.
As a result, our administrative costs are less than 5%, ensuring more of your donation goes directly to the children in need!
