Dearest community, we need your support! 

We are seeking funds to elevate the Canmore Hospital Foundation's Bow Valley Health Care Scholarships program in collaboration with the Canmore Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary. These funds will support aspiring health care professionals in our community. By providing financial assistance to students pursuing careers in health care, we aim to nurture the next generation of healthcare leaders who will serve our community with dedication and compassion.

With the understanding that our growing community is in need of talented health care professionals and that education in healthcare fields is incredibly expensive, we are asking for your support in generating additional funds to be awarded to our scholarship recipients this year. After two successful rounds of health care scholarships and two groups of inspiring and passionate recipients, we now understand more than ever how profound the impact of this financial aid can be. Past bursaries have been awarded to individuals pursuing careers as doctors, nurses, EMTs, occupational therapists, and more–each with plans to return to the Bow Valley to embark on their professional journies, healing and caring for our community. 

We have opened applications for the 2024-25 academic year and are seeking funds to bolster the funding we can provide to these passionate emerging health care professionals. 

If you are able, we ask that you make a donation of any size to our Programs Fund to support our Scholarship Program and help us reach our goal of $20,000 by June 30th, 2024.

Or, you can consider establishing a partnership with the Canmore Hospital Foundation to sponsor new scholarships. By collaborating with us, you can make a lasting impact on the lives of future health care leaders and help address the growing need for skilled professionals in our community. Substantial donors will be offered the opportunity to name a scholarship after themselves, their family, their business, or a loved one to create a lasting legacy.
