The mission of the Cape Breton Regional Library is to strengthen and inspire our communities by providing quality collections, cultural resources, programs and services in a welcoming environment where all can enjoy reading and learning.
About CAPE BRETON REGIONAL LIBRARY BOARD
The Cape Breton Regional Library has focused on the lifelong learning needs of its users since it was formed in 1950. The library provides information and entertainment resources to residents and visitors to the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Victoria County. Through twelve library branches and two bookmobiles, the library offers services and materials to people of all ages at no charge. The Cape Breton Regional Library employs 60 people in a variety of jobs across the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Victoria County, located on beautiful Cape Breton Island.
