We collect "loose" change donations to purchase gift cards which are then distributed across Canada to frontline organizations.
Card for Change is a charity dedicated to empowering people experiencing homelessness by helping them purchase essential items they need to move towards self-sufficiency.
We raise "loose change" donations, and convert them directly to gift cards which we then distribute to over 30 frontline organizations across Canada.
Gift cards have no fees to purchase and we are a group of small but dedicated volunteers, so we can promise that 100% of all individual's donations received are used to purchase the cards.
*** We are beginning a campaign in collaboration with EVE (End Violence Everywhere). With your help, we will be able to buy grocery gift cards to provide to the survivors of partner violence supported by EVE who are in need of immediate resources in their long road to recovery.
