Starting with a generous donation from the Sisters of St. Joseph and committed volunteers, Casa El Norte opened its doors 40 years ago to people arriving in Fort Erie with nowhere to go. Today those doors are open wider than ever. We provide housing and supportive programs for women of all ages and their dependent children living unsheltered or at risk of homelessness. Generous donations help to keep the shelter running: the pantry stocked, the kitchen warm, and someone here when a person knocks. We meet women and children where they are at and serve with compassion. CASA provides Community Access to Safe Accommodation for Women and Children. Please give.
