Centraide Estrie is a non-profit, private charitable organization, created in 1975. It supports community organizations and volunteers to respond to the needs of the most impoverished and vulnerable in its community. Centraide Estrie covers the city of Sherbrooke as well as MRC de Coaticook, du Granit, du Haut-Saint-François, de Memphrémagog, des Sources and du Val-Saint-François.
Every year, Centraide Estrie supports about 90 organizations, agencies and programs. Nearly 125,000 people in the Estrie are reached directly or indirectly by our organizations. All organizations, agencies and programs supported by Centraide Estrie must be affiliated with one of these 4 fields of action: support youth success, break social isolation, take care of the essentials and build caring communities.
