Our Mission
The mission of Central Ontario Leadership Seminars (COLS) is to seek out, recognize and develop leadership potential in Canadian youth.
About CENTRAL ONTARIO LEADERSHIP SEMINARS
Our goals are:
1) To encourage and prepare the next generation of Canada's civic, social and corporate leaders.
2) To provide young leaders with forums to to learn "how" to think not "what" to think by offering independent and interactive opportunities for critical thinking.
3) To encourage personal growth by promoting positive thinking, goal setting and community involvement.
We achieve our goals in two ways:
The cornerstone of COLS is our annual three-day seminar. Student leaders from all across Ontario come together to this all expenses paid weekend to interact with like minded leaders and to challenge their own limits in reaching their full personal and leadership potential.
Through our ALUMNI program, COLS also has regional clubs across the province that are run by student leaders themselves! They organize social and charity events, and hold one day leadership seminars called PLAY (Promoting Leadership Among Youth) Days to help develop student leadership.
