Did you know that the Centre d'exposition L'Imagier, founded in 1975 by Yvette and Pierre Debain, is the oldest contemporary art exhibition center in the Outaouais and the only one located in the western part of the city of Gatineau?
L'Imagier is a non-profit organization that showcased contemporary art exhibitions since 1975 and shows in the Parc de L'Imaginaire since 1981. L'Imagier's team also continues the tradition of educational and cultural mediation activities.
Today, L'Imagier wants to be a place committed to the reflections raised by the artists we support. As a catalyst for ideas and creative energies, the center is equally committed to its audiences! Community spirit, intellectual and physical accessibility are at the heart of our concerns and current issues.
