The tradition is mahayana and the alma mater is Gaden Jangtse monastery, located in South India. Lama Lobsang Samten is geshe (Ph.D. in Buddhist philosophy). The teachings come originally from Siddharta Gautama, who lived more than 2500 years agoin India. The teaching lineage of the Centre Paramita follows His Holiness the Dalaï Lama.
