CharACTer Curtain Calls offers structured dramatic arts programming for young people in the St. Thomas-Elgin-London area.
CharACTer Curtain Calls received its letters patent on August 27, 2015, and was officially registered as a charity on May 10, 2016. Due to COVID-19, our season did not get underway in 2020; however, we are returning to in-person programming again in October, 2021.
Our mission is to advance education in the field of dramatic arts by offering structured classes and events to children and youth, and by providing opportunities for these students to publicly exhibit, present, or perform dramatic works. We offer weekly drama sessions for students in grades 2-9, and culminating performances at local performing arts theatres for students in our Gr. 3-5 program, Gr. 6-8 program and Gr. 9-11 program. We are a not-for-profit charitable organization that is 100% volunteer-driven.
