Canada has committed to accepting 40,000 Afghan refugees and we need your help to welcome them.

While there are many interpretations of what led to the crisis in Afghanistan: one thing is clear, millions of lives are at stake.

Today, there are approximately 3.5 million internally displaced Afghans and an additional 2.2 million refugees and asylum seekers in neighbouring nations. The urgent need is to evacuate the thousands of Afghans who supported Canada and its Allies; the countless professors, lawyers, teachers, and health care workers who have laboured to promote basic human rights and social justice must be helped.

Ultimately, we need to act quickly to avert a massive humanitarian crises.

Lifeline Afghanistan and Charities Aid Foundation Canada (CAF Canada) have partnered together to provide social and economic opportunities for Afghan refugees in Canada. Your support of this campaign will help provide a positive impact on both the lives of the Afghan refugees, as well as the communities they will become a part of as they are welcomed to their new home - in Canada.
