CAF Canada is working with The Wayuu Taya Foundation and its sister organization Fundación Wayuu Tayá in Venezuela to distribute aid, including water, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, and food to communities impacted by the two major earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24th. This project will include transportation of aid items including water to communities across the states of Falcón, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Aragua, Distrito Capital, Miranda and La Guaira.  Fundación Wayuu Tayá is on-the-ground providing logistical coordination and support to ensure aid reaches communities most in need.

The Wayuu Taya Foundation is a humanitarian nonprofit founded in 2002 that has worked uninterrupted for 25 years supporting the most vulnerable communities in Venezuela.
