Every day in Chatham-Kent, victims of crime and tragedy struggle to overcome the personal impact of robbery, assault, homicide, domestic and sexual assault, suicide, harassment, traffic and fire fatalities, and sudden death.
Chatham-Kent Victim Services aims to provide help, healing and hope to thousands of people in our community who have to cope with these unimaginable life situations. Founded in 2001, our not-for-profit, charitable organization is the only around-the-clock, on-scene crisis intervention agency for victims of crime or tragedy serving the residents in our community. Staff and volunteers make up a dedicated team committed to responding to each and every call for help. The ongoing support of the residents, businesses, and service organizations in our community ensures we have the resources and the capacity needed to provide the care and attention we deliver in times of crisis.
