We provide therapeutic services to support children's develolpment from birth to kindergarten in the Yukon.
The Child Development Centre operates throughout the Yukon. Our services are provided free of charge. We offer a variety of programs to support children's development rom birth to kindergarten. Therapists and families work together to develop goals.
We provide a wide range of services; from answering questions about behaviour, sleep and feeding, to providing physiotherapy or speech language therapy, to working with families whose child has just received a diagnosis. Some of the services we offer include:
- -ideas to try at home;
- -developmental assessments and follow-up;
- -therapy;
- -groups for children and/or parents;
- -visits to childcare centres; and
- -child and youth diagnostic and support services.
