Children’s Aid Mission Africa (CAMA) aims to raise funds to support impoverished families with medical expenses for their children in critical condition aged 0 - 17, in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Sub-Saharan African countries have a large number of poor families who have limited access to healthcare and rehabilitation services. Most of these poor households survive on just $ 2 or less a day. Therefore, parents from these very poor families cannot afford costly medical treatment for their loved children with critical conditions including but not limited to; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, tuberculosis, acute bronchitis, upper respiratory infections,trauma-related disorders, treatment for mental disorders, cancer treatment and major surgeries, yet they are expected to pay out of their pocket due to lack of universal medical care in developing nations. For example, the average treatment for mental disorders is $2000 per child, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma $690, trauma related disorder $1100, acute bronchitis and upper respiratory disease $290, tuberculosis $800. Therefore, your financial donation will save a child’s life, and also reduce mental stress for the desperate parent. Remember, small donations are worth more than you think.
