Kick off the charitable season by participating in GivingTuesday, a global day to give back! Today, on GivingTuesday, we invite you to donate to Children of the Promise and help provide life-changing, and often life-saving, programs for at-risk children and families in Northern Haiti. Whether you are a long time supporter, volunteer, or perhaps you’re new here…you are a part of COTP’s story and we look forward to what we can accomplish together!

We have so many different ways that you can engage with what is happening on our campus and in our community, but today we want to highlight the work being done in On Campus Care and through our Child Sponsorship program.

On Campus Care is one of the foundational pillars of COTP. Right now, we have 31 children in our care who live in six different family-style homes on our campus. Each home has loving house parents and dedicated nannies who give excellent physical, emotional, and spiritual care as the children wait to be reunited with their families, placed in a domestic foster home, or united with a forever family through adoption. This intentional structure allows children to create healthy attachments with their caregivers so that they are better prepared to connect with their forever family later on. It is crucial to the health and well being of all of our kids!

The importance of our house parents and nannies can’t be stressed enough. From consistent breakfast routines to Bible stories at bedtime, we truly cannot have asked for better caregivers for this season in these children's lives. But you also play a role in helping these children thrive in their current environment. It is because of your generous donations that these kids are receiving the phenomenal care that they do.

So today, on GivingTuesday, we ask that you would consider giving a one time gift towards our children in On Campus Care. A $35 donation helps one child for a month. A $420 donation helps one child for a year. Our goal is raise an additional $420 per child in our care, which is a total of $13,020.
