About Thrive Child Development Centre Foundation / Fondation du centre de développement de l'enfant
THRIVE Child Development Centre is one of twenty-one Children’s Treatment Centres across Ontario which provides programs and services to children and young people aged 0-19 years with long-term disabilities. Centre staff focus on helping children and youth reach their potential and independence in the areas of physical, perceptual, communication and/or developmental challenges.
THRIVE is an incorporated, non-profit charitable organization with accountabilities to a Board of Directors, the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and the Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District Social Services Administration Boards.
We are dedicated to supporting children and youth with special needs in the development of their potential and participation as valued members of the community.
Family-centered care is at the heart of THRIVE Child Development Centre, where children from the District of Algoma receive support from a wide range of health care & other professionals.
