Chilliwack Hospice Society is a community-based organization that helps individuals and families dealing with dying and death through support, education, and programs that promote wellness and healthy grieving.

About Chilliwack Hospice Society

Chilliwack Hospice Society has been providing free grief support and palliative care support programs and services to the Chilliwack community since 1986. One-to-one and group grief support is available, including specialized programs for grieving children and youth, pregnancy and infant loss, traumatic losses such as suicide, homicide, drug poisoning and workplace accidents, and pet death. Companioning, patient visitation, and vigil services, as well as caregiver support, are an integral part of our palliative care support programs. Educational workshops and presentations are facilitated throughout the year on a variety of topics such as advance care planning, financial and estate planning, self-care and wellness. Through our Relaxation Program, volunteers provide energy-based treatments to support palliative and bereaved individuals in reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being.

There is no cost to our clients for our services. These programs and services are made possible by the generous contributions of individuals and businesses within our community, and through support of Chilliwack Hospice Society fundraising events and the Thrifty Boutique.
