Our Mission
Christ Church Cathedral is an inclusive community of disciples of Jesus Christ serving God in downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada through worship, ministry and outreach.
With over 50 active ministries, three choirs and numerous outreach partners the Cathedral's ongoing commitment to mission work in downtown Vancouver is considerable.
Your gifts support keeping the building open 7 days a week so all who seek God can experience the divine in this sacred space.
Your help supports the weekday food outreach ministries, The Maundy Cafe feeding over 500 hungry folks every week.
Your help can support the excellent Christian Education programs developed and facilitated by Cathedral clergy working with the top theological scholars, writers and educators on the west coast. All of these programs are offered to the greater community free of charge.
Your support can help maintain an oft visited and much cherished heritage building.

About Christ Church Cathedral Vancouver BC
Christ Church Anglican Cathedral's community values its history and heritage. Since 1888 people have met here at the corners of Georgia and Burrard in the very heart of the city to worship God and witness to Christ's love for the world. Since 1929, this has been the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of New Westminster.
The current Archbishop is the Most Reverend Melissa Skelton and the Cathedral's Dean and Rector is the Very Reverend Christopher A. Pappas.
Christ Church Cathedral is the oldest church building in the city of Vancouver and is a Class A heritage building. In 2006 following 11 years of fundraising and hard work the first three phases of a dramatic restoration were completed.
The Cathedral is enriched and enlivened by the diversity of its community. It is a place for worship, and for outreach to near and far. It is a place where faith is nurtured and all age groups are welcomed. This is a safe, welcoming place and positive space for GLBT people, their friends and families.
